Here are the top 5 Christian Leadership blog posts on leadership and productivity I read this week, along with some posts from here you might have missed.
Here are the top 5 Christian leadership blog posts on leadership or productivity that I’ve read this past week:
In the next few weeks, Salvation Army cadets in the United Kingdom will receive details of their first appointments they will take up after Commissioning in July. Here’s a timely post then from Stephen about what to aim for in your first year at a church. I endorse all of them.
Regular readers will know the idea of sitting down with a blank piece of paper on a Saturday night (or for that matter, even the Monday before!) is the sort of thing that gives me the heebie-jeebies! So I always appreciate posts like this one from Brandon with tips on how to get ahead. He has an intriguing idea that I continue to reflect on.
I have never even read nor linked to a post like this one! 17,000 words and a 75 minute read! But it is so worth it. I have implemented many of the suggestions in this post this week, and I already feel the use of my iPhone and iPad is more focused. It is divided up very well, so you can skim the “headlines” much quicker, but I cannot recommend this highly enough.
Here is a list of ten things to be intolerant about. Quite a number make it to my list.
Singing Lies in Church by Doug Eaton
Doug isn’t talking about songs with bad theology (although he does mention a few!). What he’s getting at is when our spiritual state doesn’t match the words were singing. It applies to all of us, but the post also raises some points that worship leaders might want to remind their congregations too.
