I preach most Sundays, although there are sermons included from special guests throughout the year. We try to provide positive, practical encouragement from the Bible each week. Some sermons are Salvation Army-centric, but most of them are applicable to all Christians.
During each sermon, I seek to carefully explore the passage we are looking at, placing it context. I try to find illustrations that help you connect with the issue we are exploring. I focus on taking us on a journey that makes the message life applicable. Having heard what the Bible says in a particular passage and on a specific issue, the question remains, So What? What do I do about what I've heard? What difference will it make in my life today?
I pray that you will enjoy these Salvation Army sermons online and that you are challenged by the messages from God's Word.

The young man in this sermon on Mark 10 17-31 wanted to know what to do to receive eternal life. But salvation is not like that; it's a gift. This Sunday evening's sermon was a sermon on the Great Commission. Without mission there is no Christianity. So, are we on mission? Do we spread the Good News? Or is there something stopping us? This Sunday morning's sermon was a sermon on James 3 the tongue. In Pilgrim's Progress, John Bunyan describes his character Talkative as "a saint abroad and a devil at home." Does that describe you? A Sermon on James 3 the Tongue The misuse of the tongue is spiritual arson. A loose tongue affects others and hurts us too. What is in your Heart Comes Out through your … [Read more...] about I Want to Live Right | Watch Your Mouth! (James 3:1-12)
In this sermon for Harvest Sunday we acknowledge that coffee beans have to be crushed and ground to release their flavour and aroma. In this sermon on Isaiah 42 1-9, we recall that in a similar way, God often has to break areas of our lives and show us our weaknesses so that he can rebuild us and make us the people he meant us to be. This sermon on social justice reminds us the … [Read more...] about It All Depends on God (Isaiah 42:1-9)
Our sermon on Harvest Sunday was a sermon on Matthew 6 25-33. It's a sermon about worry. I don't want to worry you: but worry can seriously damage your health!
